About the event

The U.S. National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps (I-Corps™) program is an immersive, entrepreneurial training program that facilitates the transformation of invention to impact. This immersive, seven-week experiential training program prepares scientists and engineers to extend their focus beyond the university laboratory — accelerating the economic and societal benefits of NSF-funded and other basic research projects that are ready to move toward commercialization. Participating teams receive a $50,000 grant and gain real-world, hands-on, immersive learning about what it takes to successfully transfer knowledge into products and processes that benefit society. The NSF runs at least three cohorts a quarter, at Hubs around the country.

RSVPs are required. I-Corps Info Sessions are an informal opportunity to meet the CUNY/NY I-Corps team and ask questions related to Business Model Generation, Customer Discovery, and Regional I-Corps programs, as well as NSF National I-Corps programs. They are offered monthly at 10 - 11 AM EST and are great opportunities to ask one-on-one questions.

NY I-Corps Hub provides reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities. Requests for accommodations for events and services should be submitted at least one week before the date of the accommodation need. Please email info@newyorkicorps.org for assistance.
